15.5 weeks

It's been pretty busy around here. The babies are a lot of work and we are trying to keep up with our usual lives too. If we just had a few more arms to hold the babies, we would be okay. They like to be held a lot. Still looking forward to the end of RSV season so we can get these babies out of the house and can show them off to the family and the rest of the world :) The pediatrician told us we shouldn't take them to mass on Easter or to our families, so I guess we will be taking turns going to my moms house to eat and hang out. We can't let Alli miss the traditional Easter egg hunt and Grandma thinking she is hilarious at her 'don't pick up the brown eggs' joke :)

A First Steps evaluator came to evaluate the babies about 2 weeks ago and it doesn't look like they will need any therapies or additional help at this time. They were evaluated at their adjusted age (3 weeks) and were doing things that a lot of babies do between 1 and 3 mos, so they are doing great. We will stay in the program though just in case we ever need any of their services.

The babies are starting to smile all of the time now---so cute and sweet! Here are a few recent pictures...I've been getting nagged on to update ;)

The Clauser Triplets are 3 Months!!!

I can't believe 3 months has already passed. Announcements still aren't out yet and it feels like yesterday I was just complaining and having pity-parties for myself in the hospital :)

We took them to the dr. today for their 3 month appt and to get their RSV shots. They are all doing really good. Jimmy weighed 10lbs 14oz, Jenna 8lbs 11oz, and Cassie 8lbs 9oz. I can't believe how big they are! When you hold Jimmy, that 2lb difference between him and the girls feels like about 10lbs! He is so solid. They are letting us sleep pretty good the past few nights too.....they seem to only be getting up once in the middle of the night. And every once in a while, we will get lucky and one of them will sleep all the way through. It is getting so hard though! I almost think I am ready to go back to work! It might be like a vacation....okay, not really, but I'm looking forward to going back part-time and getting out of the house and seeing my friends and my favorite boss, Scott. (Just thought I should suck up a little before I come back ;)

Here are a few pictures from their 3 month photo shoot....

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, I'm 31 today. Can't believe that I'm that old already. I still feel pretty young, but then I think, "Wow! I have 4 kids---I must be getting old!" It was good spending the day with my family, but a crappy birthday because the weather was so bad and I couldn't go anywhere . I'm not one that likes to sit around at home and do nothing. Of course, I can always clean/organize, but that doesn't sound fun on my birthday. Jim did work from home today though, so that was one upside of the bad weather....I had some company and some help. Some of my friends and family are going to help me celebrate on Saturday night though, so I'm looking forward to that.

The babies are still growing. Alli is almost over her cold, now Jimmy has one. They did test him for RSV, but it was negative, so that is good. We took him in on Tuesday...he weighed......9lbs 1oz. My little Buddha! I can't believe he has tripled his weight in 12 weeks. They were 12 weeks yesterday. It's getting A LOT harder, day by day! They don't sleep like they used to during the day and they always want to be held. Big thanks to Jim's family that came in this weekend to hold babies and MY mom and sisters that have been helping during the week and giving me a break--letting me get out of the house to Bread Co, Target, etc. I'd go insane if I couldn't leave at all :)

I was honored to be chosen as Godmother to my nephew, Sully, this past weekend. Here is a picture after the Baptism. (Dave-Godfather, sis-in-law Gina, Sully, brother Brian, and me)
The babies started smiling last week (on Valentine's Day). Here is Cassie tonight, giving us a big grin :)

I know you can't see all of their faces, but thought they looked so cute laying there together.

Happy Valentine's Day

Things are going good here. Babies are eating all of the time and getting big. Allison is trying to get over a cold, so not much sleep in the Clauser household the past few nights. Aunt Joan and Mom came over yesterday to help out, so that was nice...I got a break for a few hours. And today, Jane came over and helped out for a few hours....even let me get out for an hour. Nice day outside---wish we could all go out for a walk or something. In time.....

Happy Valentine's Day from the Clauser kids!
I like to think that Jenna is cracking up laughing on this one ;)

Go Giants!!

Okay, I can care less about Super Bowl and didn't even know the Giants won, but Jim and I did win $60! Yeah!!!!

The babies are doing great. They were 9 weeks old on Wed and the home nurse came for her last visit. Our tiny babies are no longer little preemies.....Jimmy weighed in at 7lbs 5oz. He is our big boy who just likes to eat and eat. Jenna was 6lbs and Cassie 6lbs 40z...no longer the little peanut of the three. They are eating like little piggies...going through almost a can of formula a day (which is going to kill us soon!). Hopefully some of our free stuff will start coming in and maybe the ped's office can hook us up....we are hoping anyway! They are starting to stay awake a little longer between feedings too, which is harder, but also more fun and we can start bonding with them more. Laundry is getting more plentiful, as I can't seem to change a diaper without making a mess (or them making one for me!)

Last Friday night, my family had a shower for us at my moms house. I had so much fun seeing everyone and we received so many nice things. I have such a great family (mom, sisters, sister-in-laws, nieces, cousins, aunts, family friends). I think about 35 people showed up and we just had pizza, salad, and drinks. Thank you to everyone for coming and for all of the nice gifts. And thanks to my mom and sisters (& SIL's) for planning it for us. We really appreciate everything and we love you guys very much.

Alli also got her first haircut that night...she was such a big girl and really excited. We just got it trimmed a little, but it makes it look so much cuter. Aunt Jackie cut it and Alli knows she can never cut it herself :)
Also got the first snow of the year. I hate the snow and am a fun in the sun kinda gal, so I let Jim take her out.
