Santa Pics

After missing about 4 Breakfast with Santa's, we were finally able to make the one at Hazelwood. Allison loved Santa and loved sitting on his lap telling him what she wanted (a big Barbie house). She is so sweet. Jenna liked him from far...she was smiling and waving. Cassie and Jimmy not so much. But when it came time to sit on his lap for the picture, none of babies wanted anything to do with him. It ended up being a family picture :) Ann scanned it sideways and I don't know how to flip it. Merry Christmas!

A few more pics from Hazelwood
I thought this was cute of all of them looking out the window together
So pretty!

Just messin' around

My poor kids are ALWAYS getting in trouble. They just get into EVERYTHING! I'm not used to this b/c when I just had one (Alli), she didn't do this kind of stuff. Although, sometimes now I think she eggs them on a little bit and they imitate her doing stuff (that she can do b/c she is bigger). Just a lot of yelling 'NO' constantly.

For instance....they LOVE to climb and jump (and Alli is right with them doing it to!)

Jimmy can open the doors now...and he can even take off some of the doorknob covers we bought. So.....the newest game is to open the coat closet and pull ALL of the coats off the hangers...takes them about 1 minute to pull them all down and takes me about 5 times that to hang them all back up. They were diving into the pile of coats on the floor :)
I also notice they are good at multitasking.....brushing their teeth at the same time :)
One of their new words is CHEEEESE!!!

And Alli can say it too :)

2 Year Check Ups

Dr. stats on the kids.......

Jenna ~ 23lbs (8%) and 32in (10%) - still on the smaller side
Jenna......2 years ago, the day she was born (2lbs 12oz)

Jimmy ~ 31lbs (80%) and 33 1/4in (2o%) - short and fat ;)
Jimmy.....2 years ago, the day he was born (3lbs 1oz)
Cassie ~ 25.3lbs (30%) and 33 1/2in (45%) - bigger than Jenna, but still a little on the smaller side
Cassie.....2 years ago, the day she was born (2lbs 8oz)

They are all really starting to talk the last few weeks. They are in speech therapy (1 1/2 hr every Thurs). Not sure if that is really what is helping them...I think its more they are just finally catching on. They repeat almost anything you say and they are starting to use the words on their own and label things. Most recent words are shoes, socks, cup, coat, bite, drink, puppy. They are starting to learn songs now ~ ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, Baa Baa Black Sheep. They still fight a lot, but play together a lot too. Big sister Alli is the best...she plays with them all the time and keeps them from fighting, she teaches them. She just loves them so much, and they love her too!

I have no idea what Santa is going to bring for Christmas...they all got so much for their b-days in the last two months. I guess we'll just get lots more of unnecessary stuff!

As for me and Jim, we still need to get the tree up and lights on the house. Finish shopping too!

Thanksgiving 2009

I should start off by saying that I (we) are so thankful for our wonderful family, our health, friends, good jobs, and everything else in our life. I really do feel like we have a great life! Thank You God!!

Thanksgiving was a little hectic this year. We had an okay day and it was good to see all of our family and we had great food, but it was just a little too much on-the-go with the 4 kids I think. We ate early at my moms so we could leave by 3:15 to make it to Pawnee by 5:00 to eat dinner there. The triplets usually take a nap about noon and that's what time we ate at my mom's house, so they were pretty cranky over there. They did sleep for about an hour on the trip to Pawnee, but wasn't quite enough I guess. They were okay there, but then on the way home, Jimmy screamed for 45 mins straight at the top of his lungs. It was so stressful! Anyway, hopefully next year will be a little better. I think Jim and I were just so stressed out from the kids all day and being on-the-go ourselves that we didn't get to enjoy it and relax as much we would have liked.

Hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving!

This picture is of my Mom and her 28 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Amazing, huh? I think we had 47 people in total at my Mom's house!!! If you can pick out my 4 kids...none of them are smiling ;)

Spaghetti Heads

Jim's turn to feed dinner, obviously, because I still spoon-feed the Chef Boy Ardee foods to them! :) They do a pretty good job with their utensils, but it can still get pretty messy. Poor Jim had to give the baths also b/c I had to run out to my boot camp class. Such a good daddy (and husband). We look away for one minute and Jenna has her bowl on her head. She is the leader of the pack usually.....and see what she started!!!
