Jim snapped this one....Cassie was burying Jenna and Jimmy with the toys. It usually starts that one might be crying, so the others bring that one a blanky. Next usually comes a doll or stuffed animal. Then books. Then toy after toy after toy until they are covered.

My little ballerina....isn't he so cute :) Usually when Alli comes home from dance, she is in dance mode and wants to dance around the living room. Of course they all want to be like their big sister!

Baby Boom!!!!

Just thought I should formally congratulate all of my friends on my blog. Four of them have had babies in the last month! They are all SOOOO beautiful!!!

Happy 33rd Birthday to the Mom!

Thanks to everyone for helping me celebrate my birthday. I had a good day. I went to Mass in the morning, then Jim and I took the kids to Bread Co for lunch and they were great. Wanted to prove to Jim that we can take them out and they really are good. Probably better when we are out in public than they are at home :)

Loved all my presents! I'm still like a kid---I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY! Jim always teases me b/c it goes on for probably a month.

On that Saturday night (2/20), Brian and I celebrated our b-days together with our friends and family. His b-day was 2/8. We went to Trailhead for drinks and dinner, than over to Ameristar. I didn't take any pics of everyone at Trailhead, but got a few at the casino, before we got in trouble.

That's right! Jenna, our little leader! Friday (2/12), I got a phone call at work from Jim and he said Jenna had to tell me something. She was soooo excited, laughing and giggling while telling me she went poo poo on the potty. Then she called me back again a few hours later all excited again. Two times in one day. I had Jim pull out the big girl underwear to put on over her diaper to make her feel like special.

It's been a little hectic around here b/c all 3 of them pull off their dirty diapers. They keep wasting all my diapers when they only pee in them once and take them off, b/c usually they do probably 3 times before I realize it and change them. Not to mention, we have to duct tape the diapers and we cut the feet out of sleepers so we can put them on backwards so they can't unzip them and get them off. Although, skinny Jenna can just usually find a way to slip through the neck.....

Jenna wants to go constantly on the potty....although, seems like she only goes 1-3 times a day. All the other times, she just wants to sit there. Jimmy and Cassie want to go to, but all they really do is waste my time and I feel like I'm in the bathroom constantly. But, I hate to tell them no, if they really might have to go or want to try to go. While waiting on one kid, the others are climbing in the tub, using the soap, unrolling the toilet paper, trying to help Jenna wipe, flushing the toilet, trying to 'see, see'. Yes, Jimmy gets his face up really close....I keep telling him he's going to get peed on! So, its at little stressful on me and I just always knew I was dreading this!!! But, I'm so glad Jenna is doing good.

Jimmy did go pee once....but I don't really know how to train a boy...so, as he was sitting there, I felt something shoot out across my leg....I thought someone threw something at me until I noticed he peed all across the room (and on me!). But, I still gave him praise b/c he was sitting on the potty when it happened, so he tried :)

SO, those are my potty stories for now....hopefully this time will go quickly :)

Happy Valentine's Day to Everyone! Jim got me a massage---I can't wait to go get it :)

For breakfast we had heart shaped cinnamon (rolls) with pink icing and they each got a big sucker...along with sunglasses. Alli got a sucker, two games for her Leap Frog game and some heart socks :) They they all got to take a nice warm bath!

Someone got her ears pierced.......

Alli got her ears pierced this weekend! We were supposed to have a big day planned for Saturday....dance class, Bread Co, ears pierced, pictures taken.....but Alli woke up at 4am puking and with a fever. She was so upset that she couldn't get them done. First thing she said Sunday morning was if she didn't have a fever, could she get her ears done? She still had a fever, but was feeling a bit better, so I took her. It was about noon and the girl said, if you want to wait until 1:30, her coworker would be there and they could do them together. I didn't want to wait that long, so I put Alli through the pain of one at a time :( I sort of feel bad about it now, but she did great. In her words to me...."I didn't cry and I didn't even say 'ouch'" I told her that I said 'ouch' when I got mine done when I was little so I think that was her way of letting me know she was better than me ;) But, I am proud of her....even the worker asked how old she was and when I told her 4, she was like, "Wow---she really did do good!" She picked out pink crystal daisy earrings. She is really good about letting me clean them. We had fun looking at all of the earrings that we are going to go back and buy after her 6 week starters are done. Doesn't she look so beautiful?????

Jenna, Jimmy, & Cassie - 2 year pics

I took the triplets to get their 2 year pictures done last weekend. Yes, I'm about two mos late and I almost didn't make this appt. I wanted Alli to be there too, since I knew I would be getting the CD and paying a lot of money, but she got sick. I couldn't put it off any longer. But then I realized I would have had to take them by myself so Jim could stay home with Alli. Lucky for me, my nieces are wonderful! This time it was Jenny...I picked her up and she came to the studio with me to help watch the kids.

I still couldn't get a picture of them all together. Jenna wanted nothing to do with it. She was not cooperating very well, but they still got some cute shots of her. I guess it actually made it easier at the end to choose b/c she only had a few good ones, unlike Jimmy and Cassie...they were cheesing it up in all of theirs :) I think they turned out pretty good :) They look so grown up!

Thought I would show everyone what my house usually looks like....we usually clean it up once or twice a day (nap time and bed time), but sometimes we might let it go a day or two like this and we just step over all of the toys, books, cheerios, shoes, socks, etc, etc, etc.....Pretty gross, huh???

I came home from Zumba one night and Alli put all of her bows and barrettes in her hair. Daddy helped her with the back of it. Doesn't she look so beautiful? :)

Cassie has the cutest little smile :) We've been spending some 1-on-1 time together over the past week. We are doing a diaper survey and we have to go 3 times for 2 hrs each. So, we just sit and play and she gets spoiled with lots of treats and time with me. Of course, she did puke on me at the last appt. That was a little embarrassing!
And look how sweet and innocent this smile is......she's just drawing pictures on her Magna Doodle.....no clue where the crooked goatee came from ;)
The kids are starting to talk really good now. They can pretty much repeat everything you say. They do a lot of labeling objects, which really helps us out and we don't hear quite as much grunting. Still not really putting words together yet, but I'm sure it will come soon. They do say a few phrases though. Jenna has this new 'trick' where if I get out of my seat to answer the phone or do something, when I come back, she throws herself across my seat and says 'SPOT'. I guess she is letting me know that she stole my spot and I'm not getting it back :)

And finally.....My baby sister Ann turns 30 on Tuesday (1/26). We celebrated and had lots of fun at Fast Eddies on Saturday. I didn't take any pictures, except one on the way home. Jim is always passed out (or at least sleeping) on the way home. And Jason (his brother) is pretty much the same!
