Finally.....Halloween Post!

Ann and Tim had a Halloween party the weekend before Halloween. They have one every year. It was a little smaller this year, but we still had a lot of fun. Jim and I always wait until the last minute to get costumes together. I found us a cute one, but then when we went to get dressed that night, half of Jim's costume was missing. I was so upset. He went back to the store, they didn't have anymore, so then we just had to buy dumb ones. I was Little Red Riding Hood and he was a monk. Nothing too exciting.

Danielle and Derek came over with their two kids (Mia & Owen) to trick or treat with us, and so did Ann, Tim, Matt, and Mike. We probably went to about 15 houses, which was plenty enough for our kids. I was lucky to have all hand-me-down costumes for the kids, except Jenna's. But I didn't have to spend a lot of money for something they will wear one time. Wonder what I'll accumulate for next year ;)

We had a fire at the end of the night and Danielle brought all the supplies for Smores. Alli just had roasted marshmallows.
The next day, I caught all the kids playing behind the rocker. They don't hang out together and not fight very often....I'm sure this time didn't last long either, but long enough to get a picture :) Look and Jenna's skinny, long legs!
Ann and Tim had Daniel and Christopher baptized a two weeks ago. Here is a family picture of all of them.

Alli's 4th Birthday Party

We had to cancel Alli's birthday party the day we originally had it planned because she was sick, but we rescheduled for the next weekend. She had a lot of fun with all of her cousins. They all played outside on the swingset until it started raining. She opened her gifts and we sang happy birthday to her. She loves to be the center of attention :)

Fall 2009

A few weeks ago, we met the Parkerson's for a hayride that was sponsored by Janet's mom's real estate agency. It was pretty fun. They had hot dogs/chips/drinks for the kids and then we took the one mile tractor ride. The kids really liked it and were very well behaved. Alli really liked it though. Of course, it helped that Will was there, because they love to hang out together. We've been teasing since Alli was born that they'll get married some day. We'll see
