Henry Robert
Chrissy and I are excited to announce that we have a new nephew! Billy & Kelly are the proud new parents of a beautiful baby boy! Henry Robert was born 11/16, weighed 9 lbs 15.5 ounces, & was 21.5 inches long. Kelly and Henry are both doing great and are scheduled to go home Friday. Allison is SO excited about having another cousin! That's all she's been talking about. Just the other day she said "Dad..I wish our family wasn't so small. It's not fair that I only have 20 first cousins. I wish I could have another one." Now she does! The first picture is of little Henry. Man he's got a lot of hair! The others are Allison & Henry meeting for the first time. I think they look a lot alike!

Free at Last!
We got to come home from the hospital today! It's SOOO good to finally be here! We got home about 5:00 pm and unloaded everything from the car. Then Grandma Lynn, Grampa Jim, & Aunt Amy came over for a visit. We ordered pizza and hung out playing with Allison. It was a really nice day. Here are some pictures.

Allison Christine
Here are a couple of pictures of our new baby girl! She was born yesterday @ 3:39pm. She was 6lbs 11oz & 20 inches long. Chrissy and Allison are both doing good.
I'm only posting a few picture right now because I'm headed back up to the hospital (I came home to put the car seat in). Check back often. I really am going to be updating this a lot now. Mom is going to make me!!!

Dad's New Toy
He has always wanted one and he finally got it. Dad went out and bought himself a new Harley Davidson! He bought it last week but he just got to pick it up yesterday. He was having some stuff added like a different seat and a chrome package. He also had foot pegs put on the back for Mom. I've only seen it through pictures but it looks really nice! I'm happy for my Dad. He works very hard and he deserves to have some fun.
I'm excited about this new bike too because Dad is a tough person to buy gifts for. Now for his birthday, Christmas, etc. I can buy him new accessorories. I already have my eye on a pair of black leather assless chaps and a shirt that says "If you can read this, the bitch fell off".
One last thing....
Dad has asked that while he is riding or dressed in his new gear, that he not be called by his God given name. Instead, he would like for everyone to refer to him as "Sparkplug". Also, he is looking for a new gang to "run with". If you have any ideas or leads, please post them here in the comments area. Thanks.

Firday Night Excitement
We had a lot of fun Friday night. We went to Talayna's on Main Street in St. Charles for dinner with Gen (my mother-in-law), Brian, (brother-in-law), & Gina (very soon to be sister-in-law). We ordered a HUGE 19" sausage & pepperoni pizza! It was really good. After that, we all went down the street to the casino. Chrissy and I both had a $10 gift certificate to Ameristar from Christmas so it ended up being a pretty cheap night. We started off in the nickel section but very quickly found ourselves playing penny slots. We both managed to play on our $10 for an hour or so. Chrissy has really changed me!! I don't think anyone lost too much but I know for a fact that nobody won either.
Here is a picture that we had taken as we were leaving the casino. I knew those casino security guards were good for something. They don't do much for protecting people but they sure do take good pictures!

Lamaze
Well, we just got home from our second lamaze class. There is a lot of good info but as you can tell by the picture, we don't take the breathing part too seriously. They put on "relaxing" music and the teacher talks very softly about how "the contractions are rolling in like little waves on the ocean". This of course prompts both of us to start laughing and mimicking her. It's kind of like having Bob Ross as a birthing coach! "Ok...now it's time for some happy little contractions". That is about the time I decided to pull a chair over, set the camera on it, set it to auto, and take this pic. I was pretending to be serious but Chrissy couldn't do it. She was too far gone. :) I though for a second that we might be asked to leave. Unfortunately we weren't. Oh well...maybe next week!
Oh yeah...Chrissy isn't real happy with me for posting this picture either. I had to though. I think it's funny!

The Baby's Room
Here is a picture of the new nursery! We've been working on it for a while now but it's finally just about finished. Our friends Toni & Andy installed our new carpet last week and Chrissy and I put the crib together yesterday. The dresser is about the only thing missing (besides the baby). I'm in the process of re-painting that now (the dresser, not the baby). It's going to take several coats though because we are painting it white. The old color keeps bleeding through.
Welcome
Hey everybody! Welcome to my new blog. I thought this would be a fun way to keep in touch with everyone. You can stop by here to get the latest updates on what's been going on with Chrissy and myself. You can also leave comments or send us an email via this site. We will be adding blogs every day or two. Sometimes it may be something interesting that happened that day. Other times we may just post a few pictures that we want to share.
In addition to keeping up with what's going on with us, you will be able to link to some other neat sites. You will be able to get up to the minute news, weather, and sports but there will be other things besides that. For instance, right now I have a link to my buddy Guido's website. Just remember to look under the "Links" section frequently for new additions.
Anyway, check it out. Have fun looking around and stop by often!
